Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions in The One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he formed his musical group, White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to beat in the Battle of Bands 2009. He was always interested in music but also wanted to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. Part-time work in a city bakery was his first occupation to earn money for the family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This was the reason that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band called One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in the year 2010. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders for the prize. However, they finished third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not get the win in the contest. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
